Fermentation 101: Join us to learn about the very basics of fermentation and how it can be used to naturally preserve your food. Also learn about the health benefits of fermented foods. No experience required and a brief demo on making sauerkraut will be given. Season will offer a tasting of her fermented foods as well as having them for sale.

As a graduate of the IUP Academy of Culinary Arts and a B.S. in Food and Nutrition, Season has an affinity for all things food and health related. She's an RYT-200 yoga instructor and recently earned her Permaculture Design Certificate at Earthaven Ecovillage in Asheville, NC. Season loves spending her time gardening, foraging, hiking with her 2 dogs, experimenting in the kitchen, and fermenting. She owns her own business, called Cultures, LLC, where she makes fresh fermented foods and hand crafted chocolate truffles. Season strives to support her local food scene and community, and is working towards using as many locally and sustainably produced ingredients as possible in her products.
